Flexible working
The stay at home orders caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have lead to most office based workplaces offering a flexible work from home policy.
Flexible working is expected to continue after the pandemic with employees able to work from both the office or their home.
Many office based employers will offer equipment to set up your home office including computers, desks and chairs.
Commuting
London is such a big city that it can take hours (yes, hours) to get from one side to the other, so it is important to consider the commute of any job.
With so many people traveling into the city to work, the average commute time for a Londoner is a whopping 74 minutes.
The Tube or train are the most common commuter methods for Londoners, but many people opt for the bus or cycling, finding these methods less crowded.
Make sure you consider your commute when looking for an employer and test it out. 30 minutes and under is excellent.
